Open Day at the New ZARYS Portugal Warehouse in Vila do Conde

On 24 September 2026, ZARYS Portugal, the Portuguese branch of ZARYS International, held an Open Day at its new warehouse in Vila do Conde, north of Porto. One hundred clients and partners toured the 3,500 m² facility, where the branch has been operating since 1 August 2026. Just this summer, it was still an empty hall.

New ZARYS Portugal warehouse: 3,500 m² near Porto

Since 1 August 2026, ZARYS Portugal has been operating from a 3,500 m² warehouse in Vila do Conde. That is almost six times more space than at the previous location. We have already written about the move, so this is just a quick recap for anyone who may have missed it.

More space means better availability of medical supplies and faster order fulfilment for our clients. For us, it is a tangible expression of our commitment to continuity of supply and quality of service.

Open Day: 100 clients and partners in the new warehouse

On Thursday, 24 September, the new warehouse welcomed one hundred guests: clients and partners ZARYS Portugal has been working with since 2023. Today, the Portuguese branch supplies around 300 clients, including all public hospitals in Portugal. Not bad for less than three years in business.

Andre, Sales Director at ZARYS Portugal, summed it up: “We still have a lot to do and plenty of room to grow. This is only the beginning.”

Guests could explore every corner of the warehouse and talk to the team that makes sure their orders arrive on time, every day. The event was also attended by Paweł Ossowski, CEO of ZARYS International, and Grzegorz Kraśniewski, International Business Development Manager.

The event was hosted by the ZARYS Portugal team, led by General Manager Pedro Amaral. Six people currently work at the warehouse, and the team is set to grow to ten within a year.

From an empty hall to fully stocked racks: video report

Before the first guests stepped through the door, the empty hall had to be turned into a proper warehouse. The team in Portugal filmed everything as it happened: the echo off the bare walls, the racking going up and the first pallets on the shelves. See for yourself.
